Carolina Hot Sauce

This sauce can be put on chicken wings, pork roast or chicken thighs. We marinated a pork roast in it and then placed the roast in the slow cooker. So yummy!!

Ingredients:
  • 1 1/2 cup cider vinegar
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 2 teaspoon cayenne or hot red pepper flakes
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon Tabasco (optional)
Mix and marinade your choice of meat over night.

Italian Dressing Mix

This mix is used in the Italian Cream Cheese Chicken Casserole, but can also be used as a marinade or dressing by mixing 2 tablespoons of the mix with 1/4 cup vinegar, 2/3 cup evoo and 2 tablespoons of water.

Ingredients:
  • 1 tablespoon garlic salt
  • 1 tablespoon dried minced onion
  • 1/2 tablespoon sugar
  • 2 tablespoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 2 tablespoon salt
Stir and store in an air-tight container.
