Ingredients:
- 4 pork chops
- salt and pepper
- 2 tbsp butter
- 12 baby carrots halved
- 1 medium apple, cut into thin slices
- 1/4 cup pure maple syrup
- Sprinkle pork with salt and pepper. Melt butter in pan. Add pork. Brown for 2 minutes on each side, turning only once.
- Reduce heat to medium/low. Add carrots, apple slices, and syrup. Let simmer. Cover. Cook for 8 minutes.
- Using a slotted spoon, transfer meat, carrots, and apples to a separate dish. Allow sauce to thicken in pan for additional 1-2 minutes. Pour thickened sauce over pork.
